24 hours later...

Damn you Australia for being so far away, but we made it! Andrew perhaps feeling a little green from the last leg of the flight, but we'll come back to that later. So, Kilimanjaro Airport; we are sweating buckets and not sure if it is due to 34 degree heat or the immigration officials, they are very scary! After paying for our entry visas, USD50 each, passports stamped, we are collected by our driver. The road to Arusha is slow and hot, the speed limit a walking pace and the A/C fighting a losing battle against the heat outside. Chucky sitting next to me asked the driver to stop the car some 20 minutes into the trip. Remember I mentioned Andrew was feeling a little green? Well some regurgitating was required to reset his equilibrium. Picture a white dud in the middle of Africa, throwing up on the side of the road.
